Life at Figma
Connection and kindness are core to our culture (after all, we’re a group of people building a collaboration tool). We focus on lifting each other up instead of competing amongst ourselves, and we build relationships through numerous company traditions.
We gather together bimonthly to share little wins and show off work we’re proud of. In the IRL era we’d all hang out eating good local food and playing board games on our roof deck. In remote life, the Zoom chat is a non-stop compliments party.
When the office is open, we collectively turn Figma’s event space into our version of a café once a quarter; complete with homemade treats and fun latte art.
Talent is optional at this annual show. Think: Juggling, musical acts, dog tricks, breakdancing, stand up comedy. Nerd level 100.
A time set aside twice a year to pursue wild, silly, and imaginative ideas. The whole company takes part, and people can work on anything Figma-related that piques their curiosity. This year’s most whimsical project was an original musical written, produced, and starring 30+ Figmates.

Who we are
Our team is a diverse group of creatives; from musicians, artists and dancers, to Olympians, beekeepers, and bakers. Many of us have special communities outside work, and we celebrate these aspects of ourselves with events like Figma Family Day, online scone-making classes (led by Figmates), Yappy Hour (for hanging with our dogs) or the rival Catty Meow-ur, and more.
